Work Placement
Whether you want to find out if a career in Early Education is right for you, or you are already a step ahead and want to gain practice hours for your Certificate III in Children's Services or Diploma of Children's Services, an internship is an ideal way to gain hands-on experience and observe educators already working in the early childhood sector. And as every journey begins with the first step, it is our pleasure to accompany those first steps into this field that is so close to our hearts.

The fact that we at Journey have our own Journey Academy, an online platform where you can learn the latest content at any time according to your own needs, already speaks volumes. In addition, depending on your individual focus, we offer live training, team-building events or leadership seminars, and support if you want to take the next step on the career path by studying for a degree while working. Trainees
You have already decided that a career in early education is a possibility for you and have 12 months to pursue this wish? Wonderful. Then the opportunity to join Journey as a trainee is just right for you. As our trainee, you will be supported to build foundational knowledge and experience within childcare. Your team, centre leadership team and assessor will help guide you through each day, ensuring that you feel a sense of belonging and continuous support. The end of these 12 months at Journey can also be the start of a further career in our team. So, it is worth talking to us about this possibility.
