Early Childhood Teacher | Carseldine
At Journey Early Learning Carseldine, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This role is about more than delivering a program — it’s about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and making a lasting impact in children’s lives.
About the Centre
At our Carseldine centre, we believe that our educators are the heart of everything we do, not just team members, but family. We’re committed to creating a workplace where you feel supported, valued, and genuinely excited to walk through the doors each day.
With 120 children aged six weeks to six years, our centre offers a vibrant, joyful atmosphere filled with meaningful connections, laughter, and shared celebrations. We take pride in recognising achievements -big and small - through special events and everyday moments that bring our team together.
Our stunning environment is a true wonderland for children and educators alike, sparking curiosity, creativity, and imagination. With a sustainability garden, play fort, sports zone, water play area, and natural exploration spaces, every day is filled with opportunities to inspire young minds and foster learning through play.
Your role:
As our Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll focus on creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment for our Kindergarten children. You’ll design and deliver engaging programs that support every child’s wellbeing, growth and learning, while working collaboratively with a supportive team.

- Facilitating play-based learning tailored to children’s strengths and interests
- Observing and documenting children’s progress and milestones
- Building positive relationships with families, children and the community
- Supporting and collaborating with a passionate team of educators
- Engaging in community projects and centre initiatives
About you:
You’re a creative and motivated teacher who thrives on seeing children grow and flourish. You value strong relationships, collaboration and a positive team culture where everyone feels supported.

- Current Working with Children Check
- A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Confidence with documentation and technology
