Permanent Childcare Educator | Fernvale

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Educator to join our Fernvale team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

About the role:

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Educator, you’ll play a vital role in building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You'll create meaningful learning experiences and help shape a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child's individuality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children

• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
• Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program. 

• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

About you:

You are a creative, committed, and inspired Early Childhood Educator who thrives in a team environment. You have a passion for play-based learning and are eager to contribute to a positive, inclusive culture where every child—and every educator—can grow and thrive.

Key skills and requirements:

• An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• An approved Working with Children Check (State Specific)
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
