Talent Acquisition Manager | Sydney Support Office

The team 

You’ll be leading a team of four established Talent Acquisition Partners who draw upon a mix of sector, agency and internal talent experience.  The team are passionate, collaborative, and dedicated to making a real difference to our services across the regions.  Aspiring to “experts with credible influence”, this is what they want:

What you’ll be doing 

You will work closely with the Head of People to help shape and implement a talent strategy, that can meet our expansion plans in a competitive talent market.  Some key responsibilities: 

  • Manage the team to deliver talent outcomes in line with the needs of the business 
  • Access, track and report on key hiring metrics/tools to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Provide coaching, training and development opportunities to build recruitment capability and confidence in both the team and other stakeholders 
  • Engage, review and manage relevant external relationships including agency, migration and systems suppliers 
  • Monitor and report on workforce trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and strategy  
  • Ensure recruitment practices are compliant, consistent, streamlined, and deliver a positive people experience 
  • Amplify our Employee Value Proposition through effective attraction mediums 
  • Manage and monitor a talent budget to ensure cost-effective outcomes 

What you’ll bring 

You are a collaborative and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition expert who inspires your team and drives operational excellence. With strong expertise in recruitment operations, process improvement, ATS optimisation and data-driven insights, you ensure our approach is both efficient and impactful.  You would have: 

  • 4+ years in Talent Acquisition, including a successful track record in leading recruitment / talent teams 
  • A background in servicing the childcare / early education sector with people solutions 
  • An ability to manage priorities, improve processes, and deliver results 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing reports, building dashboards and turning data into actionable insights. 
  • Apply solid problem-solving and process improvement capabilities with sound judgment to identify issues and contribute to effective solutions 
  • High level of adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement with a proactive approach to learning and enhancing recruitment practices 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across internal and external stakeholders
