Casual Childcare Educator | Epsom

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to join our Epsom team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

Centre Overview:

Journey Early Learning Epsom, formerly known as Country Buddies Bendigo, is a purpose-built centre catering for 130 children between the ages of six months and six years. Our centre is a place that sparks curiosity, wonder and joy in all educators, children and visitors. Our Centre Manager, Jeanette, is passionate about fostering children’s development as well as establishing positive and engaging relationships with our families. The team at Epsom is built on the foundations of connection, communication, and consideration.  

About the role:

This is a casual opportunity across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support the physical care and emotional wellbeing of all children
• Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

To be considered for our team you must hold:

• An ACECQA recognised qualification – e.g. working towards, certificate III, diploma or higher
• An approved Victorian Working with Children Check 
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
