Casual Childcare Educator | Durack Heights

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to join our Durack Heights team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

Centre Overview:

Our purpose-built 66 place centre is a place where children aged from six weeks to six years can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity. We are located on Packard Avenue, Durack, with modern indoor and outdoor play environments that support learning in a stimulating, play-focused setting.

Engaging with the wider community, our centre is involved in weekly incursions that promote new and enriching experiences. Our supportive and collaborative team love to celebrate achievements with monthly morning-tea’s and lunches. We also offer a yearly roster with specific set shifts.

About the role:

This is a casual opportunity across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support the physical care and emotional wellbeing of all children
• Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

To be considered for our team you must hold:

• An ACECQA recognised qualification – e.g. working towards, certificate III, diploma or higher
• An approved Working with Children Check - OCHRE Card
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
