Casual Childcare Educator | Whittlesea
Journey Early Learning Whittlesea is seeking Casual Educators to support our centre team across rooms as needed. This is a great opportunity for educators who value flexibility while still wanting to feel part of a professional, welcoming and well-supported environment.
You’ll step into rooms to support daily routines, learning experiences and child engagement, working alongside permanent team members and centre leaders who will set you up for success.
What you’ll be doing
• Supporting daily routines and play-based learning experiences
• Engaging positively with children across age groups
• Assisting room teams with supervision and activities
• Helping maintain safe, welcoming learning environments
• Following centre policies and safeguarding practices
• Building respectful relationships with children and educators
About you
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience working with young children (desirable)
• Flexible, reliable and quick to adapt
• Warm and engaging approach with children
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Working with Children Check and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
