About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and values-driven Centre Manager to lead our Wallan centre. This full-time role is suited to someone who brings strong operational leadership, a growth mindset and is passionate about building high quality practice, supporting teams to grow, and creating a positive, stable environment for children, families, and staff.

You’ll work closely with an accomplished Educational Leader and be supported by Journey’s wider leadership and support teams. This role focuses on people leadership, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Journey Wallan is a 120-place centre located within one of Melbourne’s fastest growing corridors, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a service with strong community demand and future growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the NQF and National Law
- Maintain and strengthen high-quality standards across education, care, and practice
- Work in partnership with the Educational Leader to support pedagogy and reflective practice
- Build, guide, and develop a committed, engaged staff team
- Foster strong relationships with families and the local community
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children and educators

About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Centre Manager
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher (ACECQA-recognised)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality standards and lead successful outcomes
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Calm, confident, and values-led leadership style
