Centre Performance Manager
Northern Territory | Journey Early Learning
Durack, Durack Heights, Millner, Nightcliff + new Parap service
Lead with presence. Embed practice. Help us grow Journey in the NT.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on, embedded leadership role designed for leaders who love being close to practice and building strong, connected teams.
You’ll support our existing NT services — Durack, Durack Heights, Millner and Nightcliff — while also playing a key role in welcoming and supporting our new Parap service as it opens. You’ll spend three days per week embedded in services, working side‑by‑side with Centre Leadership Teams to embed strong educational practice, uplift capability, and bring Journey’s Values, Standards and Vision to life in meaningful and consistent ways.
This role offers genuine scope to shape culture, support new and evolving teams, and ensure quality and connection remain strong as the region continues to grow.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading, coaching and supporting Centre Leadership Teams across the region
- Embedding Journey’s educational approach, values and standards into everyday practice
- Supporting quality, compliance and operational excellence as the foundation of safe, high‑quality early learning
- Partnering closely with centres to drive capability, consistency and continuous improvement
- Supporting new teams through service openings and change
- Building strong relationships with teams, families and the local community
- Working within Journey’s broader ecosystem of educational, operational and wellbeing support
About You
You’re a leader who:
- Loves being present in services and working alongside teams
- Brings strong leadership experience in early learning (or a closely aligned sector)
- Is passionate about embedding practice, growing people and building culture
- Is confident supporting teams through growth and change
- Aligns deeply with Journey’s Values of Connection, Consideration and Communication
- Wants to make a genuine difference — not just maintain the status quo
What We Offer
- A meaningful leadership role with real influence and impact
- A well‑defined NT portfolio with established services and a new opening
- Three days per week in services, allowing for depth, presence and strong relationships
- A supportive, values‑led organisation committed to quality, innovation and exceeding outcomes for children
- Professional development, collaboration and connection through Journey’s leadership community
