Journey Early Learning Indooroopilly is a 54-place service with a truly unique story. Originally a church, the centre has been thoughtfully custom-built to spark curiosity and a sense of wonder for both children and educators. It’s a place where childhood is honoured—unhurried moments by the fire, barefoot exploration across gentle hills, sensory-rich natural spaces, and a strong, intentional focus on wellbeing for everyone who belongs here.

Our educators are warm, nurturing and deeply connected to their community. As Centre Manager, you’ll join a supportive Leadership Team who value your expertise, encourage your growth and believe in leading with care.


⭐ About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, people-focused Centre Manager who is passionate about quality practice, strong relationships and building a team culture where everyone feels supported and valued.

You’ll be responsible for daily operations while leading with Journey’s quality-first approach and receiving strong ongoing support from our Pedagogy & Safeguarding Teams, Area Manager and Journey Academy.


🌱 Key Responsibilities

• Champion high standards of safety, compliance and safeguarding
• Lead, mentor and grow a passionate educator team
• Oversee rostering, occupancy, budgets and daily operations
• Build trusted relationships with families and community partners
• Advocate for children’s rights and wellbeing
• Support the development and evaluation of high-quality programs
