Childcare Centre Manager | Kyneton

Journey Early Learning is seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Manager to lead our Kyneton team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a well-established centre, mentor a passionate team of educators, and ensure the delivery of high-quality early education within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Journey Kyneton is a modern purpose-built 88 place centre thoughtfully designed to inspire imagination and curiosity.

About the role: 

As Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations. Your leadership will play a vital role in creating a culture of excellence, where your team feels empowered, supported, and inspired to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the overall performance and daily operations of the centre, including occupancy, budgeting, staffing, and compliance
• Support, mentor, and guide your team to maintain high-quality educational and care practices
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider community
• Ensure adherence to the National Quality Framework, regulations, and Journey standards
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all children
• Drive continuous improvement and reflect on centre practices regularly
• Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of every child in your care

About you? 

You are a confident and compassionate leader with a clear commitment to early childhood education. With previous experience in a leadership role, you bring professionalism, strong communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others. 

Key Requirements 

• Experience in a leadership role within Early Childhood Education
• An ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification
• A comprehensive understanding of the NQF and relevant legislation
• A strong commitment to the wellbeing and development of children
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• A values-led approach aligned with Journey’s vision and culture
