Journey Early Learning is seeking a passionate, influential, and experienced Educational Leader to join our Ocean Grove team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire, mentor and guide educators, while affirming and extending their practice and pedagogy.

About the Role

This role is a 6-month maternity leave contract with view to extend. Across Monday to Friday / flexible hours for the right candidate.

As Educational Leader, you’ll be a key part of our leadership team, drawing on your experience in curriculum design and your ability to mentor and support educators across every room.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education
• Ensure children’s learning is documented professionally and meaningfully in Storypark
• Embed high-quality practices across the service in line with the NQS
• Build warm, inclusive relationships with children to support learning and development outcomes
• Partner with families to foster open and respectful communication
• Ensure inclusive practices for children of all abilities

About You
You are an experienced early childhood professional with a strong understanding of compliance, leadership, and exceeding practice.

What you’ll bring

• ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Current Working with Children Check
• A passion for creating safe, supportive, and inclusive environments for all children and families
• Commitment to the ECA Code of Ethics and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
• Demonstrated professionalism and respect when engaging with children
