Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Lead Educator to join our Delacombe team. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, thrive and where families and community feel truly connected.

⭐ About the role

Permanent part-time, Monday to Friday.

As our Lead Educator, you’ll play a key role in shaping daily learning experiences and supporting educators to deliver meaningful, play-based programs. You’ll help create environments where curiosity is encouraged, children feel supported, and educators feel confident and empowered.

🌱 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing
• Lead and implement engaging, high-quality educational programs
• Mentor and support educators through planning, documentation, and reflective practice
• Oversee and approve Storypark posts
• Cultivate inclusive spaces that encourage exploration, independence, and creativity
• Provide clear, constructive feedback that supports professional growth
• Build strong relationships with families to enrich each child’s learning journey

💛 About you

You are a warm, creative educator who loves leading learning, inspiring others, and building meaningful relationships. You value teamwork, reflection and providing children with experiences that spark joy and confidence.

You’ll bring:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards one)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (state specific)
• Passion for play-based, holistic education
• Experience leading curriculum and documentation
• Strong written communication and time management skills
• A collaborative, supportive approach to team culture
