Journey Early Learning is seeking an influential, passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our Tatura team, and inspire, motivate, affirm and challenge or extend the practice and pedagogy of educators. 

Centre Overview: 

Journey Early Learning Tatura is a brand-new, purpose-built centre nestled in a growing area of Tatura. With six thoughtfully designed classrooms and capacity for 96 children, the centre offers a warm, inspiring environment where children, families, and educators can thrive together.

Our educational approach is founded on play-based learning, where curiosity leads the way and every child is supported to explore, discover, and grow. Indoors and out, our environments are crafted to spark imagination—from engaging learning spaces to natural outdoor areas that promote active, sensory-rich experiences.

About the role: 

As our Educational Leader, you'll be a key member of our leadership team. In this key role, utilising your influential skills, you will leverage your extensive experience in curriculum programming and your proven ability to provide excellent support and mentorship to Educators in every room.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Motivate and lead a team of educators to achieve high-quality care for all children within the service 

  • Clear understanding of Storypark and ensure children’s learning is documented in a high quality and professional manner  

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensuring high quality practices are consistently embedded across the service 

  • Establish, nurture and foster strong and inclusive relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes 

  • Building a supportive relationship with families to allow for honest and open communication of expectations and needs 

  • Assisting in ensuring high quality practices and procedures are being met according to the NQS 

  • Ensuring the inclusion and support of all children's learning abilities 

About you: 

Your ability to create environments that inspire growth, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning, along with your experience to provide excellent support and mentorship to Educators will see you succeed in this role 

Key skills and requirements: 

  • Bachelor or Diploma level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification   

  • Passionate about children, their development, and safety  

  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a quality education program 

  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework & National Law   

  • Understand leadership and mentoring, be approachable & willing to learn 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Possession of current First Aid, PR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates  

  • Valid Working with Children Check
