Childcare Kitchen Hand/Cook | Delacombe

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Kitchen Hand or Cook to plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for all children at our Delacombe Centre.

Centre Overview:

Journey Early Learning Delacombe is an established, purpose-built centre designed to cater to 120 children from birth to five years old.
Our dedicated team brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education, united by a commitment to creating enriching and meaningful learning experiences for every child.

Who are you?

You are creative and adventurous in the kitchen with a strong passion for nutrition, sustainability and incorporating your kitchen into the rooms. You will work as part of the centre team, building strong relationships with educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:

• Demonstrated commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals for children of all ages
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificate
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery would be ideal but not required
