Journey Early Learning is thrilled to be opening our second centre in Echuca West (VIC) in April 2026, and we’re looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our leadership team. This is your opportunity to shape a brand-new, purpose-built centre and create a learning environment where every child thrives.

About Our New Echuca West Centre

• Licensed for 120 children across 8 rooms
• Operating hours: 6:30am – 6:30pm
• A purpose-built environment designed to support children, educators, and families
• Strong focus on community connection and meaningful excursions

 
Your Impact

As an ECT, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that inspire young minds and nurture a lifelong love of learning. You’ll collaborate with the Centre Manager, Educational Leader, and Admin team to create a culture of excellence.

Full-time or permanent part-time position, Monday to Friday.

What you’ll do:

• Design and deliver play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and joy.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and your team.
• Observe and document each child’s progress to support their unique learning journey.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all.
• Contribute to community connections through local projects and excursions.

About You

You’re a creative and reflective teacher who finds joy in helping every child reach their potential. You thrive in a supportive, team-based environment and lead with empathy, curiosity, and purpose.

What you’ll bring:

• ACECQA approved Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current VIT registration
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
