Are you an experienced Early Childhood professional passionate about educational leadership, pedagogy and supporting educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences?

Join Journey Early Learning Echuca West as our Educational Leader and play a key role in leading educational practice, strengthening pedagogy and supporting our team to create meaningful outcomes for children.

About the Role

As our Educational Leader, you'll provide pedagogical leadership across the centre, working alongside Early Childhood Educators and Centre Leadership to strengthen curriculum, teaching practice and children's learning outcomes.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs and curriculum
• Support educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Mentor and coach Early Childhood Educators to strengthen their pedagogical practice and confidence
• Guide educators through reflective practice, professional learning and continuous improvement
• Ensure educational programs reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), children's interests, strengths and individual learning needs
• Support the development, implementation and review of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
• Contribute to the centre's ongoing quality improvement and NQS outcomes
• Build a culture of collaboration, professional learning and reflective practice
• Work closely with Centre Leadership to support strong educational and operational outcomes
• Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the wider Journey community

About You

We're looking for an experienced Early Childhood professional who is passionate about educational leadership, pedagogy and supporting educators to grow.

You'll bring:

✔ A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

✔ Previous experience as an Educational Leader, Lead Educator or in a similar pedagogical leadership role

✔ Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

✔ Experience mentoring, coaching and supporting Early Childhood Educators to strengthen their practice

✔ Strong understanding of curriculum development, reflective practice and continuous improvement

✔ Experience contributing to Quality Improvement Plans and quality improvement initiatives

✔ Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills

✔ A genuine passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing

✔ A commitment to creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments

✔ National Child Safety (Foundation Module) training or willingness to complete

✔ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications

✔ A valid Working with Children Check
