About the role
As Educational Leader at Journey Early Learning Whittlesea, you will work in partnership with the Centre Manager to lead pedagogy, guide quality practice and support educator growth across the centre. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise, voice and passion for early childhood education will genuinely shape outcomes for children and teams.
You’ll be supported to lead with confidence, influence practice and embed meaningful, reflective teaching aligned to the EYLF and NQS.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and embed high-quality pedagogy and curriculum practices
• Mentor, coach and support educators through reflective practice
• Support quality improvement, compliance and continuous improvement processes
• Partner with the Centre Manager to strengthen centre culture and practice
• Build strong relationships with educators, families and the wider community
• Champion safeguarding, inclusion and best practice across the centre
About you
• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
• Experience in an Educational Leader, Lead Educator or senior educator role
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and quality frameworks
• A passion for mentoring, coaching and educator development
• Confident, collaborative communicator who leads with purpose
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
