Lead Educator | Parap

Journey Early Learning is opening our brand-new 98-place centre in Parap, and we’re looking for experienced Diploma-qualified Lead Educators to join our team.

With opportunities currently available across all rooms and age groups, this is your chance to bring your leadership experience to a brand-new environment, build your room and team from the beginning, and create meaningful connections with children and families from day one.

Diploma qualification and previous Lead Educator experience are essential.

✨ About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you’ll:

• Lead, mentor and support a team of educators
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Help establish your room’s routines, environments and team culture
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
• Guide observations, planning and Storypark documentation
• Work closely with the Centre Leadership Team
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

💛 About You

You’re an experienced Lead Educator who is confident leading a room, supporting your team and creating high-quality learning environments.

You’ll bring:

• ACECQA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and play-based learning
• Confidence mentoring and supporting educators
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative and positive leadership style
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
• Completed National Child Safety Training
