Permanent Educator (Maternity Leave Contract) | Nightcliff
About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Permanent Educator to join our Nightcliff centre on an 11‑month maternity leave contract. This role offers the opportunity to support children in our Kindy Classroom, contributing to a dynamic learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
As part of the Journey family, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership team to deliver high‑quality early learning experiences, while being supported to grow your skills and confidence in a positive, values‑led workplace.
What You’ll Do
- Support and facilitate engaging learning experiences for our 2-3 years room
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
- Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning, interests, and development
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and interactive learning environment
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing at all times
About You
- ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III, Diploma, or higher in Early Childhood Education
- You hold an approved state specific Working With Children Check
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- A team‑focused educator who communicates openly and respectfully
- Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates
