Permanent Educator | Parap

Journey Early Learning Parap is looking for experienced and passionate Permanent Educators to join our brand-new 98-place centre.

This is a unique opportunity to join a centre where everyone is starting together. From day one, you’ll build relationships with children, families and your new team while playing an important part in shaping the culture, learning environments and community of Journey Parap.

You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas, experience and personality to your role, with the support of the wider Journey ecosystem behind you.

Monday to Friday | 5-day availability required

✨ About the Role

As a Permanent Educator, you’ll:

• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families from day one
• Work collaboratively with your new team to establish routines and learning environments
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
• Contribute to observations, planning and Storypark documentation
• Help build a positive, inclusive and connected team culture
• Maintain high standards of safety, care and safeguarding

💛 About You

You’re a warm, reliable and collaborative educator who is excited by the opportunity to be part of something new.

You’ll bring:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Prior Experience in ECE
• Availability across five days, Monday to Friday
• Flexibility across shift times, including opening and closing shifts
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development
• A positive, team-focused approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Clearance
• Completed National Child Safety Training
