Casual Educator | St Albans

🌟 About the Role

We’re creating a casual educator pool for our St Albans centre and are looking for warm, flexible, and enthusiastic educators to support our team. This role offers variety across age groups and rooms, giving you the chance to build hands‑on experience while supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

As a Casual Educator with Journey, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily routines, creating positive experiences, and stepping in where your team needs you most.

Must be available Monday-Friday and flexible with shift times.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Support engaging learning experiences across all age groups
• Assist educators with routines and day‑to‑day learning environments
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing
• Be flexible and responsive to the needs of the centre
  
  

💛 About You

• ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Reliable, positive, and confident supporting different rooms
• Passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing
• Strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Hold current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates

🌿 About Our Centre

St Albans is our newer centre which opened October 2025, supporting up to 130 children from birth to five years. Our centre is built on the values of connection, communication, and consideration, with thoughtfully designed learning environments and a collaborative team culture where both children and educators feel supported and valued.
