🌟 About the Role

As an Educator at Journey Banyo, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You’ll support children’s learning and development through play‑based experiences, contribute to daily routines, and build meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues.

This is a permanent part-time role offering stability, consistency, and opportunities for growth within a values‑driven organisation. You will be supporting our Nursery Space for 3 days and the additional 2 across different rooms in the centre. 

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Build caring, respectful relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice
• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes
• Uphold health, safety, and safeguarding practices at all times
  
  

💛 About You

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Understanding of child development and play‑based learning
• A positive, reliable, and team‑focused approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage
