🌟 About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, values‑driven Centre Manager to lead our 52 place Riverhills centre. This full‑time role is ideal for a confident leader who enjoys working within a smaller, close‑knit service, brings strong operational capability, and is passionate about building stable teams, high‑quality practice, and meaningful relationships with children and families.

You’ll work in partnership with an Educational Leader and be supported by Journey’s broader leadership and operational support teams. The role has a strong focus on people leadership, quality outcomes, compliance, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the NQF and National Law
  • Maintain and strengthen high‑quality standards across education, care, and practice
  • Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader to support pedagogy and reflective practice
  • Build, lead, and develop an engaged, stable staff team
  • Foster strong relationships with families and the local community
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children and educators

đź’š About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Centre Manager (or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher (ACECQA‑recognised)
  • Strong understanding of compliance, quality improvement, and people leadership
  • Calm, confident, and values‑led leadership style
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable availability for a full‑time leadership role
