Centre Performance Manager

Bendigo, Kyneton & Echuca Region
Full‑Time | Multi‑Site Leadership | New Centre Opening

At Journey Early Learning, we’re committed to creating warm, safe and inspiring early learning environments. We are now seeking a Centre Performance Manager to lead four established centres and support the opening of a new purpose‑built service across Bendigo, Kyneton and Echuca.

In this role, you’ll uplift performance, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure the consistent application of Journey Standards and high‑quality practice. You’ll work hands-on in centres, partnering closely with each Centre Leadership Team to enhance quality, compliance and culture. 

You will be supported by Journey’s established ecosystem of Quality, People & Culture, Educational Leadership, Operations and Compliance partners, all working with you to uplift practice and drive results

What You Will Lead

  • Coaching and developing Centre Leadership Teams to improve capability, culture and performance.
  • Embedding Journey Standards and aligning each centre with NQF and NQS expectations. 
  • Using data to guide operational, quality and financial decision‑making. 
  • Leading continuous improvement cycles, A&R readiness and Exceeding practice. 
  • Ensuring child safety remains the foundation of all centre operations.
  • Supporting the successful launch of a new service in the region.

About You

You bring strong early childhood leadership experience and thrive in hands‑on, people‑focused environments. You value clarity, collaboration and developing others.

You will bring:

  • Multi‑site leadership or Centre Manager experience in early learning.
  • Strong coaching and performance management capability. 
  • Deep understanding of NQF, compliance and quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Alignment with Journey’s values of Connection, Consideration and Communication. 
  • A commitment to child safety and safeguarding.
  • Passion for creating spaced that are welcoming for children, families and educators
