Childcare Early Childhood Teacher | Bendigo

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to implement high quality programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children in our Kindergarten group at Journey Early Learning | Bendigo

This role is a maternity leave cover for 5 month - November to March.

Centre Overview
Journey Early Learning Bendigo South is a warm and welcoming centre that caters for up to 96 children between the ages of six weeks and six years old. With a long-standing team of inclusive and adventurous educators, Bendigo South has strong ties and connections within the local community. 

Our environment has been designed to promote child-led play and learning in both our indoor and outdoor environments. Our large, centrally located kitchen is the perfect place for celebrations, shared meals and interactions with families and children as they enter and leave the centre.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with a strong understanding and passion for providing quality care and programs that support and encourage children to thrive, grow and develop.

Key skills and requirements:

  • ACECQA recognised bachelor’s degree (Birth Five)
  • Current Valid Working with Children Check
  • A demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgmental and supportive environment for all children and their families.
  • A demonstrated ability to adhere to and understand the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
