⭐ Early Childhood Teacher | Riverhills
(Pre‑Kindy 2–3 Years)

We’re seeking a passionate and relationship‑focused Early Childhood Teacher to join our Pre‑Kindy (2–3 year old) room at Journey Early Learning Riverhills. 

This is a unique opportunity to apply your ECT knowledge in a play‑based environment, supporting structure, routines, and early learning foundations, without the pressures of a formal Kindergarten program.

🌿 About the Role

You’ll lead learning experiences for up to 20 children per day, creating a warm, engaging environment that supports curiosity, confidence, and development in the early years.

Working closely with your team, you’ll bring strong pedagogy into a younger age group, guiding play‑based learning while helping shape consistent routines, social development, and early skill building.

This is a permanent part-time position, across Monday to Friday.

🌱 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned to the EYLF
• Support children’s early development through routines, relationships, and structure
• Guide and mentor educators within the room
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment
  
  

💛 About You

• ACECQA‑approved ECT qualification (Bachelor, Master or Grad Dip)
• Passion for working with toddlers and early learners
• Strong understanding of play‑based learning and early development
• Warm, calm, and relationship‑driven approach
• Confident communicator and supportive team member
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
