Educational Leader | Epsom
As Educational Leader at Journey Epsom, youâll play a key role in elevating practice, strengthening pedagogy, and supporting educators to grow with confidence. Working alongside the Centre Leadership Team, youâll guide intentional teaching, embed reflective practice, and ensure children remain at the centre of everything we do.
This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about mentoring others, driving quality outcomes, and continuing to develop their own leadership capability in a supportive, valuesâled environment.
This is a dual role working closely alongside our existing Educational Leader.
Monday to Thursday, permanent part-time position.Â
- Lead and embed highâquality, childâcentred pedagogy aligned with the EYLF
- Mentor and coach educators to strengthen practice and confidence
- Support reflective practice, documentation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Centre Leadership to guide curriculum and quality outcomes
- Build strong, respectful relationships with educators, children, and families
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing
Youâre a natural leader whoâs committed to supporting others. You bring a warm, collaborative approach, along with strong programming knowledge and a genuine love for early learning.
- Prior experience in an Educational Leader position, 5 + years
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQAârecognised)
- Have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Law
- Demonstrate the ability to design and implement highâquality educational programs
- Confident in curriculum planning, assessment, and reflective practice
- A strong communicator who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing others
- Hold current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates
Journey Epsom is a purposeâbuilt centre catering to up to 130 children aged six months to six years. Itâs a warm, welcoming environment where curiosity, exploration, and meaningful learning happen every day.
