Lead Educator | Essendon

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and dedicated Lead Educator to guide the Toddler Room at our Essendon centre.
In this role, you’ll lead a small team, create meaningful play‑based learning experiences, and build warm, trusting relationships with children and families. This position is perfect for an educator ready to take the next step or an experienced Lead Educator looking for a stable, well‑supported centre. You’ll work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to maintain high‑quality practice and a positive team culture.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead a high‑quality toddler program aligned with the EYLF
• Design and deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences
• Mentor and guide educators to ensure consistent, supportive practice
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Observe and document children’s development
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  
  

💛 About You

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with educators, children, and families. 

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA‑recognised)
• Experience leading toddler or early‑years programs
• Skilled in curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practice
• Strong communicator who supports team collaboration
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid certificates
