Lead Educator – Kinder Room | Riverhills

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, passionate Lead Educator to guide our Kinder space at Journey Riverhills. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys leading practice, building strong team relationships, and supporting children in their final years of early learning.

You’ll lead a small, dedicated team to deliver a high‑quality Kindergarten program that supports children’s confidence, independence, and readiness for school. Working closely with Centre Leadership, you’ll be supported to embed strong pedagogy while growing your leadership capability.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a high‑quality Kindergarten program aligned with the EYLF
• Support children’s learning, wellbeing, and school readiness
• Create engaging, intentional learning environments that extend children’s thinking
• Mentor and support educators, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning and development
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
  
  

💛 About You

• ACECQA‑recognised Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
• Experience leading a kinder room
• Strong understanding of school readiness, intentional teaching, and reflective practice
• Confident, organised, and supportive leadership style
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Experience using Storypark (or similar platforms)
