Lead Educator – Pre‑Kindy | Riverhills
Shared Role | 3–5 Days per Week

🌟About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate, confident, and nurturing Lead Educator to join our Pre‑Kindy room, 18 months to 3 years, at Journey Early Learning Riverhills.

This is a shared Lead Educator role, offering flexibility of 3–5 days per week. You’ll work collaboratively with a co‑Lead Educator and the Centre Leadership Team to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children feel safe, supported, and confident as they grow.

You’ll play a key role in establishing consistent routines, supporting emerging independence, and delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Co‑lead a high‑quality pre‑kindy program aligned with the EYLF
• Create a nurturing and engaging environment that supports wellbeing, routines, and early independence
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate, play‑based learning experiences
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning and development
• Collaborate closely with your co‑Lead Educator to support and guide the educator team
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance at all times

💛About You

• ACECQA‑recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Experience as a Lead Educator or confident Senior Educator, ideally in a Toddler or Pre‑Kindy setting
• Comfortable sharing leadership and working collaboratively in a job‑share arrangement
• A calm, supportive, and reflective leadership style
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Experience using Storypark or similar online documentation platforms
