What’s the role?

As Marketing Team Lead, you’ll play a key part in delivering the Journey vision and positively impacting local communities. This permanent full‑time role leads the development and execution of marketing strategies across our growing Early Learning and Childcare Centre portfolio. You’ll make strategic decisions, build centre‑level relationships, and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, mentor and develop the Marketing & Content Specialist, Marketing Coordinator and Digital Marketing Specialists
• Formulate and execute the Marketing Strategy with the Head of Experience
• Support new centre launches through local lead generation, campaign planning and targeted strategies
• Work closely with Centre Managers to understand their business and drive local action
• Manage social media platforms
• Oversee lead nurturing and conversion optimisation to maximise enrolments
• Manage communications with existing and prospective families and educators
• Analyse marketing initiatives, enrolment trends and market awareness, preparing regular reporting and insights
• Assist with planning and executing local events
• Travel across centres in QLD, VIC and NT as required

Who are you?

You thrive on building and executing marketing strategies that attract and engage families. Creative and analytical, you enjoy both short‑ and long‑term campaigns and bring positive energy to a fast‑growing team as we launch new centres.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, account management or similar
• At least 6 months in a people‑leadership or project‑lead capacity
• Confidence managing merchandising orders and coordinating distribution
• Experience with budget tracking and credit‑card reconciliation
• A proven track record delivering campaigns across multiple marketing mediums
• Strong data analysis skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, video editing and HTML coding
• Experience with WordPress
• Experience preparing or coordinating artwork for digital and offset printing
• Ability to source, brief and manage merchandising suppliers
• Experience creating and managing email marketing strategies in a CRM
• Ability to work within strict brand guidelines
• Basic HTML for ongoing website updates
• Confidence managing competing deadlines and working independently
• Willingness to travel across our network
• Based in Brisbane, with the ability to work from Windsor a minimum of 3 days per week
• A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (highly regarded)
• Experience or understanding of the early childhood sector (highly regarded)
