Casual Educator | Bendigo South

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to join our Bendigo South team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

Centre Overview:

Journey Early Learning Bendigo South is a warm and welcoming centre that caters for up to 96 children. With a long-standing team of inclusive and adventurous educators, Bendigo South has strong ties and connections within the local community. 

Our environment has been designed to promote child-led play and learning in both our indoor and outdoor environments. Our large, centrally located kitchen is the perfect place for celebrations, shared meals and interactions with families and children as they enter and leave the centre.  

We are proud to be a tight-knit centre, with most of our families engaging in the frequent social activities that we organise to promote connection.  

About the role:

This is a casual opportunity across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support the physical care and emotional wellbeing of all children
• Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

To be considered for our team you must hold:

• An ACECQA recognised qualification – e.g. working towards, certificate III, diploma or higher
• An approved Working with Children Check (State specific)
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
