Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Centre Manager to lead Journey Early Learning | Seymour providing the highest quality care and education for our children. 

About the Centre

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new childcare centre in Seymour, set to open in March 2025. With 126 places available for children aged 0-5 years, our centre is designed to provide a warm, family-oriented environment where children can grow, learn, and explore. Nestled in a beautiful and vibrant area, the centre features modern, purpose-built spaces that support both educational and emotional development. What’s the role?

In partnership with your Centre Leadership Team, you will lead your team on the path to Exceeding through your practices and partnerships. In return, you will be joining a company that recognises you and your experience and empowers you in your new role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Managing your centre’s performance
• Support the running of the Centre including occupancy, ratio management and centre operating expenses.
• Working collaboratively with the enrolments team and conducting onsite tours
• Engaging with families and the community and co-ordinate events
• Roster and social media management
• Developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Who are you?

You are an experienced leader within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector with a strong understanding of compliance, team leadership and demonstrating exceeding levels of practice.

Key skills and requirements:

• Strong team leadership experience
• You have experience as a Centre Manager, or equivalent leadership experience
• ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services or bachelor’s degree (Early Education)
• You have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current Valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
