Journey Early Learning is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll create engaging programs that inspire children and support their holistic growth and development.

Nestled under some very tall trees, in a quiet street in Riverhills, our 52-place center is a haven for children from nursery to kindergarten. We pride ourselves on a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about crafting a nurturing home away from home for children and their families. ⭐ About the Role
In this role, you will lead the development of an inclusive, stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s holistic development. You will guide your team in planning and delivering play-based programs and foster positive relationships with children, families, and the community.
This is a Monday to Friday role.
🌱 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, engaging educational programs.
- Facilitate play-based learning environments responsive to children’s interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Observe, document, and reflect on children’s progress and development.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Participate in community projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to a collaborative and interactive teaching environment.
💛 About you
You are a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher, bringing warmth, creativity, and confidence to your practice. Skilled in leading pedagogy and delivering engaging, age-appropriate programs, you build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Key Skills & Requirements
- ACECQA-approved Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Proven experience working as an ECT in a Kindergarten setting
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Competent in using technology for documentation and communication
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
