Educational Leader | Gumdale
$34.78-$40 + EL allowance + EWRP + Super (based on experience)

⭐ About the Role

We’re seeking a confident and passionate Educational Leader to join our Gumdale centre. In this role, you’ll lead and embed high‑quality pedagogy across the service.

This is a primarily non‑contact position, allowing you to focus on mentoring, quality improvement, and educational leadership. You will be off the floor under usual circumstances, with occasional support in rooms to assist with ratios, model best practice, or provide targeted guidance. You’ll be a visible and trusted presence, supporting educators through reflective conversations, coaching, and hands‑on mentoring to build confidence and consistency.

Role includes:

• Off the floor role - focus on pedagogy and quality uplift
• Dedicated mentoring and coaching time within rooms
• Permanent Part-time, Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

• Leading and embedding high-quality pedagogical practice across the centre
• Mentoring and coaching educators in programming, planning, and documentation
• Supporting reflective practice aligned to the EYLF and NQS
• Modelling best practice through active involvement on the floor
• Building educator confidence, capability, and consistency
• Working collaboratively with the Centre Manager to uplift educational quality
  
  

💛 About You

You’re a natural leader who’s committed to supporting others. You bring a warm, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for early learning.

• Diploma or Bachelor level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification   
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, programming, and the EYLF
• Previous experience as an Educational Leader (highly regarded)
• Confidence mentoring and supporting educators at different stages of their journey
• A warm, approachable leadership style grounded in trust and respect
