Casual Kitchen Hand | Echuca

About the Role

As our Kitchen Hand, you’ll support the Childcare Chef in planning and preparing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks that keep our little learners happy and healthy. You’ll work closely with educators and families to create positive mealtime experiences while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

This is a casual position supporting our kitchen team, with the opportunity to step onto the floor as an educator on your days out of the kitchen.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet dietary needs
• Keep the kitchen sparkling clean and safe
• Collaborate with educators to ensure smooth mealtimes
• Bring positivity and a passion for children’s wellbeing

• Passionate about nutrition and sustainability
• Creative and adventurous in the kitchen
• A team player who builds strong relationships
• Hold current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates
• Childcare qualifications desirable
