Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood professional with a love for nurturing and supporting our youngest learners? Journey Early Learning Delacombe is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Lead to join our team and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for children aged 0–2 years.

Journey Early Learning Delacombe is a purpose-built, 120-place centre dedicated to providing high-quality education and care in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment. Our team is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences while building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.
About the Role
As our Nursery Lead, you will lead the nursery room team in delivering exceptional care and educational experiences for infants. You will be responsible for fostering secure attachments, supporting children's developmental milestones and creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported to thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who is passionate about mentoring others, driving quality practice and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of educators within the nursery environment
• Create a warm, nurturing and responsive learning environment
• Develop and implement engaging programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Build strong relationships with children, families and fellow team members
• Support children's wellbeing, routines and developmental milestones
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and child safety requirements
• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
About You
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Previous experience working within a nursery environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
• Passion for building secure and trusting relationships with children and families
