We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in the Toddler Room at our Burwood centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who enjoys leading a room, mentoring team members and creating engaging learning environments where toddlers can explore, learn and thrive.

About the role

As the Lead Educator in our Toddler Room, you will guide the daily operations of the room and lead the delivery of high-quality educational programs that support children's development during these important early years. You will work closely with your fellow educators and the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Toddler Room
• Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Support and mentor educators within the room
• Foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of safety, wellbeing and compliance
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and supportive centre culture

About you

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader preferred
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Passion for supporting toddlers’ learning, development and wellbeing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current Working With Children Check
