We’re looking for a passionate Lead Educator to join our team at our Sale centre on a maternity leave contract. If you enjoy leading a room, supporting fellow educators and creating engaging learning environments where children can thrive, we’d love to hear from you!

About the role

As Lead Educator, you will guide the day-to-day operations of your learning environment and support the delivery of engaging, high-quality educational programs. You will work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of your room and support the educator team
• Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Support and mentor educators within the room
• Ensure high standards of safety, wellbeing and compliance
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative centre culture

About you

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader preferred
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current Working With Children Check
