Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Lead Educator to join our Gumdale team in providing a safe and stimulating environment which meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of the children and encourages parent and community participation.

⭐ About the Role
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday based in the Toddler room.
As our Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for the children in our care.
🌱 Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Lead, develop and implement engaging, high-quality educational programs
- Mentor and support educators to plan and deliver meaningful learning experiences.
- Overseeing and approving centre Storypark posts
- Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Provide constructive feedback to educators to promote continuous improvement and a culture of positive change
- Collaborate with families to ensure each child’s learning journey is supported and enriched

💛 About You
You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.
Key skills and requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Approved Blue Card
- A genuine passion for nurturing young learners
- Experience leading play‑based, holistic curriculum
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to give constructive, growth‑focused feedback
- Excellent time‑management in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative, team‑focused mindset
