Permanent Educator | Lucas Rise

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a warm, adaptable, and reliable Permanent Educator to join our team at Journey Lucas Rise as a Float Educator. In this role, you'll support children across various age groups, creating engaging, play-based learning experiences while helping to maintain consistent routines and high-quality care throughout the centre.

As a Float Educator, no two days are the same. You'll build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues across the centre, stepping into different learning environments to support the needs of the team and children.

This is a permanent opportunity, working across Monday to Friday.

🌱 Key Responsibilities

• Support play-based learning aligned with the EYLF
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators
• Provide support across different age groups and learning environments
• Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the centre
• Contribute to observations and documentation of children's learning
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team and educators

💛 About You

• Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
• Must have completed National Child Safety Training
• Previous experience working in an early childhood setting
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident supporting different age groups
• Warm, caring, and relationship-focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
