Permanent Educator | Durack

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and dedicated Permanent Educator to join our toddler team at Journey Early Learning Durack. In this role, you’ll help create engaging, play‑based experiences that support toddlers as they explore, discover, and grow with confidence.

You’ll build trusting relationships with children and families, support calm and consistent routines, and work closely with a supportive Centre Leadership Team who will guide your growth as an educator.

This role covers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Support engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for children aged 2-3 years
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s emerging skills and learning
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing
• Help create a calm, predictable environment that supports toddler independence

💛 About You

•  ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education 
• Prior to applying - Must hold a current and valid OCHRE card
•  Experience working with early‑years age groups
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and autonomy
• A positive communicator who thrives in a team environment
•  Committed to reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Hold current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid certificates
