Permanent Childcare Educator | Kyneton
We’re seeking a dedicated and nurturing Educator to join our Kyneton team on a maternity cover contract. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality, play-based learning programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, and growth in every child.

About the role:
This is a 9-month contractual maternity cover position within our vibrant Toddler Space. A permanent part-time opportunity, across 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
As our new Childcare Educator, you’ll play a vital role in building meaningful connections with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community. You’ll support and guide children’s learning through play-based experiences while developing your own skills and knowledge in a nurturing, team-focused environment. With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, you’ll continue to grow as an inspired and confident Educator within the Journey family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
- Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests, and preferences
- Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
- Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment
About you:
You are creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with educators, children, and families.
Key skills and requirements:
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
- Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
- An approved Working with Children Check
- Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
