Marketing Coordinator

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and confident Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team.

What’s the role?

This role will allow you to be a key part of the Journey vision and make a positive impact across many local communities in QLD, VIC & NT. We will support you to make strategic decisions, be accountable for centre performance, build relationships at the centre level and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.

The role of Marketing Coordinator is a permanent full-time role that will build, implement, and execute marketing strategies across our growing portfolio of Early Learning and Childcare Centres.

Your days in this role are varied but focus on:

  • Formulation and execution of the Marketing Strategy – Local to centres
  • Work within a team to formulate and implement a Marketing Strategy for Journey Group
  • The confidence to work with our Centre Managers, get to know their business and support them with local action
  • Ongoing Website development and management
  • The management of our Social Media platforms and the connection with new leads.
  • Communications management to existing and prospective families and educators
  • In-depth analysis of marketing initiatives, enrolment trends and market awareness
  • Assist with planning and executing local events in collaboration with the centre
  • As we have centres across three states you’ll get the opportunity to do some travel whilst working

Who are you?

Ideally, you are someone who thrives when presented with the opportunity to build and execute marketing strategies to attract and engage families. You are creative, and analytical and enjoy being a part of both short and long-term marketing campaigns.  You influence others with your positive energy – an important trait at an exciting time for both our team and the community as we launch new centres.

Other key attributes you should have to be successful in this role:

  • A proven track record in implementing successful campaigns across all marketing mediums
  • Data analysis to drive decision making
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Software, InDesign, Video editing software, HTML coding
  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Experience in the preparation or co-ordination of artwork for digital and offset printing
  • The ability to source, brief and manage suppliers
  • Experience in the creation of email marketing strategies, their execution and management using our Childcare CRM platform
  • The ability to work to strict brand guides
  • Basic HTML experience of ongoing website design and maintenance
  • Capable of managing competing deadlines and working independently in a small team environment
